Facebook users in India, now you can recharge your smartphone using its app
Facebook has been facing a lot of heat lately for mishandling the data of its users, and amidst all this, the social networking giant seems to be rolling a new feature. The social networking platform is now giving the users an option to recharge a prepaid number via its platform. Spotted on the its Android version 167.0.0.42.94, this feature seems to be available only through the app and is easily accessible.
Android users can find the option of 'Mobile Recharge' by tapping on the right-most option on the top. If you don't see it there, you can tap on 'See More' to find it.
Doing this will take you to a welcome screen saying, "Choose a plan and pay with your debit or credit card, its fast, secure and free." Tap on 'Recharge Now', which will then take you to page that will ask you to input your number, select operator and browse the plans. Once you enter your number, Facebook automatically selects the operator, but if you have changed circles, you can select the current operator.
`
Once you select the plan, you will be taken to the Order Details screen where you are required to select the credit or debit card option and enter your card details to place the order. The app will then ask for an OTP or 3D secure password to execute the recharge.
